What is a Secure Access Code (SAC) and why do I need one?Â
The SAC is a randomly generated six-digit number delivered to you via text, voice call, or push notification that is used to verify your identity. It adds an extra layer of security, preventing unauthorized access to your account(s). To log in to the new mobile and online banking systems, you will need this code to reset your password and register your device. Do not give this code to anyone.
How do I turn on SAC push notifications?
Complete these steps from the mobile device you want to receive push notifications:
- From the left column inside our App, tap ‘Settings.’
- Select ‘Push Notifications’ and then ‘Enable Notifications.’
- Next, tap ‘Allow Notifications.’
- To verify, from the left column inside our App, tap ‘Settings,’ then ‘Security Preferences,’ and ‘Secure Delivery.’
The device you used for setting up push notifications should now be shown under Registered Devices.
What is a verification code and when will I need it?Â
Occasionally, while you are on a call with a Centris team member, they may send you a verification code via text for your security.
